This course serves a primer of the Black Experience globally, but primarily focused on the United States. However, Black American cultures, including diasporic Black cultures have had a profound influence on global events and cultures. This includes languages, cuisines, music, religion, etc. Using examples from the course and from your own knowledge, illustrate in a 3 to 5-page essay, the ways that Diasporic Black cultures have influenced non-black cultures either regionally or globally. You can focus on a specific area, nation, or geographic region. You will be evaluated on your understanding of concepts covered in class and in the readings. Section 1: Who were the agencies conducting intelligence operations in Northern Ireland during The Troubles (between 1968 and 1998) and why did they conduct them?
