DECSION MAKING FOR HAWTHORNE UNIVERSITY
You are an Administrative Manager at the Hawthorne University, which is one month away from
issuing final examinations to students in November. Once this has been completed, which usually
takes a total of two weeks, marking is done by Lecturers and students are advised of their grades

proceed to register for their scheduled courses in January, or if they need to re-sit a failed exam.
As the University is in the process of finalising their typical face to face examinations, the world

Students will use research to summarize the SBIRT model, and explain its use in various settings with diverse clients. Then, students will evaluate use of the model during their role play (see above). This will be completed by summarizing feedback from others and results from use of the fidelity worksheet (provided in a previous journal assignment). Finally, students will consider the impact of diversity when using the SBIRT model, and summarize recommendations related to its use in a variety of practice settings. A minimum of at least 5 professional journal articles and 2 other sources are required for this project.
