Topic: Can the COVID-19 pandemic lead to deglobalization?

In this class, most of us were born or grown up in the era of globalization. The COVID-19 pandemic, however, severely reduced worldwide economic growth, population mobility, trade, travel, communication, to name a few. The pandemic is resetting the debate on globalization. Has the pandemic accelerated deglobalization? Or has it strengthened the globalization on the contrary? How will globalization look after the pandemic? Where do we go from here?
Part 1
Explain what the U.S.M.C.A. is (United StatesMexicoCanada Agreement), why it was created, and who are its members? Provide an explanation of the advantages/benefits of the agreement, followed by an understanding of the disadvantages/criticism of the agreement. How does Texas specifically benefit from it? Go into full detail.

In 3 sentences or less, come up with an amendment to the Texas Constitution that you would like to see happen. Then explain in a separate paragraph WHY you want to see that happen.
