Learning is the process of taking in new information and applying it to a situation or demonstrating it to others. The ability to learn is possessed by humans, and animals; some learning is immediate, and at times a single event can induce something will never forget (e.g. being burned by a hot stove), but much skill and knowledge accumulates from repeated experiences.
