Essay

What is the topic? Choose any short story and/or film that we have discussed thus far in the class. Explain one-two of the major themes (point of view, symbolism, theme, style, tone, and irony), and make a connection to your own life.

For instance, one symbolic element in "Silence of the Lambs" was the moth, a metamorphosis if you will. I hope you dont keep people in your basement, but how have you changed thus far? Therefore, Id like your essay to be a nice, blended piece of research and creativity. Whenever you can make a connection to great fiction, its purpose is being fulfilled.

Please make sure your essay is one-two pages (250-500 words) and double-spaced. I want one-two credible sources. If you use Wikipedia, I will cry and lower your grade.
