Case Study Analysis: A Tale of Two Coaches
This paper must write about the Second Sino-Japanese War (1937-1941). Apply two theories to the Second Sino-Japanese War. Choose two theories at the same level of analysis. Provide a rationale as to why that level of analysis is best-suited for explaining your war. Then explain how well those two theories apply to the war you are writing about. Choose 2 theories of war from same level of analysis (if you choose diversionary theory as one, choose a dyadic theory as the other one). Could be 2 theories about same concept (E.G. Spiral and deterrence theory for alliances).
• Why is your war a good case to test these theories?
• What are the main components of your theories? Go into detail. Use multiple sources.
• What are the theoretical expectations (hypotheses) of those theories for this case?
• Are those hypotheses supported or not in your case?
• What can you conclude about the 2 theories on the basis of the previous point?

Hi there, this is my first dissertation proposal (MA level) and it will be marked and will make up 20% of the final mark for my dissertation. It should be between 1,500 to 2,000 words(the actual dissertation will have about 12,000 words) and need to fit the uni's requirement.
I already wrote about 1,000 words but very rough. This is about Starbucks in Korea with cultural aspects;
I will upload the specific requirement and my draft here. Basically, my weakness is 'methods' and it should be 50% of the proposal - references are needed to methods.
My supervisor advised me that the most important issue with proposal is to be very ' specific' and 'feasibility' of my methodology
Deadline is a bit tight, but I have 1,000 words already with the specific guideline so hopefully it won't be too difficult to get it done.

Choose 5 of the tracks and write a response to each piece and include instrumentation, style, and other musical elements. Each response should be around 150-300 words. Try to discuss each piece using your own personal opinion. Though you should discuss what you hear in the piece, avoid giving your reader a play-by-play of the song. Explain what you hear based on your personal musical background. You can talk about genre, style, instrumentation, form, or anything else you deem relevant. How do these artists/composers utilize musical contrasts (dynamic shifts, changes in instrumentation, etc.) to differentiate musical sections?
Please use correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation. Be sure to accurately identify titles of works, performing artists, and composers. You will be graded on clarity of your ideas, knowledge of the music, and on your writing skills.
11-1 Discussion: Culture and Strategy
Harvard Business Review ranked Amazon CEO Jeffrey Bezos as the #2 Best Performing CEO in 2012. Here is what Bezos had to say about Amazon’s culture and strategy (Hansen, Ibarra, & Peyer, 2013):
“First, there are stories we tell ourselves internally about persistence and patience, long-term thinking, staying focused on the customer. Second, we select people who, when they wake up in the morning, are thinking about how to invent on behalf of the customer. If you like a more competitively focused culture, you might find us dull. We find our culture intensely fun. We have an explorer mentality, not a conqueror mentality.”
Would this culture aid strategy execution anywhere? Why or why not?
Does your own workplace follow more of a conqueror mentality or an explorer mentality? Is that good for sustainable competitive advantage?
